The Brazilians have just released a new single and accompanying video for the Sabbathy, fuzz laden ear worm ‘The Flower Children That Refuse To Wilt’, the bands first new music since their 2021 sophomore album ‘Black Wolf’.
When asked about the song Todd Macalpine (lead guitarist and vocals from The Brazilians) replied..
“The Flower Children That Refuse To Wilt is a pretty recent song for us, and one of the first we have written with new drummer Big Trev Takkos. It started out as a bit of an experiment.. I wanted to try and write a song kind of like The Beatles, ‘Come Together’ or ‘I Am The Walrus’ that is basically a bunch of cool sayings and psychedelic imagery that doesn’t necessarily mean anything tactile, and in true Brazilians style, the guitars just got louder and heavier the more we progressed with the song”
