Like Willie Wonkas Chocolate Factory opening up after being dormant after many years the new refurbished Pandamonium Records studio is open again. The first offering from the studio is label boss Todd Macalpine’s own band “The Brazilians” with their new track Delta Queen.
Delta Queen is a song straight from the Mulgrave delta cane fields of deep Far North Queensland to your rock’n’roll lovin ears.
The band will be handing out collectable limited edition download cards at shows featuring the cover art and a scan code that links to the download site, and will do the same for subsequent single releases.
Delta Queen is the first song written by the whole band. Produced by Todd Macalpine and Jeff Cripps, and engineered by Macalpine at Pandamonium Studios and Mastered by Rick O’Neil (Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, You Am I, Silverchair, Madonna, Midnight Oil, Powderfinger) at Turtle Rock Mastering in Sydney
The single is available on Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Google play and most popular download sites. In a similar fashion to crowd funding, which seems to be all the rage now, the band is hoping fans will help support the release of their full album by purchasing the single on band camp, which allows you to pay what you want and download in many different formats including Hi Res 24bit/96k (above CD quality) if you prefer.
The band plan to release a few more singles over coming months and releasing their first full album towards the end of the year.
Cover Art for the single was done by local artist Greg Dwyer.
