If the Cairns blues Festival don’t float yer boat, or the admission price a little beyond your budget, then head on down to the ol Pandamonium room this Friday for a healthy dose of original Hip Hop and Rock. Hip Hop duo “Tweak N Vital” will be busting some big beats and dirty raps for the first set. The Tweak N Vital lads were a big hit at the recent Jobstopper CD launch with both hip hop and rock fans alike. Playing the 2nd set at the Panda room this week will be August Redemption, who wowed punters at their last Panda room appearance with a set of no nonsense original pub rock. Ending the night will be Innisfail lads, Violet Shift with a set of ethereal prog rock/metal. If your tastes edge towards the Tool end of the prog rock spectrum, definitely worth checking these lads out. The Pandamonium Room kicks off at 7.30pm Friday nights. Entry is only $10.
